The child has previously been cared for exclusively by family. The parents are now looking to welcome a nanny they can genuinely connect with, trust, and feel completely comfortable leaving their child with. Consistency, reliability, and open communication are very important to this family, and they are hoping to build a long-term relationship with the right caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for a 3-year-old
• Create a calm, engaging, and developmentally supportive environment
• Plan age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and exploration
• Support daily routines, meals/snacks, and transitions
• Maintain organization and cleanliness related to the child

Ideal Candidate

• Career nanny with extensive toddler experience (ages 3-5)
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistency
• Warm, professional, and confident in their caregiving approach
• Values building trust and connection with parents
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Excellent references from long-term childcare roles

The Ideal Candidate

This position is best suited for a caregiver who truly enjoys working with infants and is comfortable supporting early developmental milestones. Ideal candidates would be friendly, loving and nurturing. The family prefers candidates that enjoy outings, engaging play and experience with introducing solids/supporting sleep routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for newborn
• Support age-appropriate development and routines
• Bottle feeding, introducing solids, diapering, soothing, and nap support
• Take infant on local outings/outdoor time
• Communicate openly with parents regarding baby’s day, milestones and needs

Qualifications

• Experience caring for newborns and infants. Minimum 1 year experience required
• Minimum 2 years overall private nannying experience
• Responsible, proactive, engaging and loving
• Comfortable with part-time work
• Great communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain by start date)
• Must be fully vaccinated, and willing to attest/or provide documentation
• Excellent references
