A warm family in Tully, NY is seeking a part-time nanny to provide consistent, high quality care for their toddler. The family has recently also welcomed a baby this past summer, and will eventually be seeking care for both children.  This position is ideal for a professional nanny who values stability, has experience with infants and toddlers and is specifically seeking part-time hours.

Schedule & Start Date

• Guaranteed 16 hours per week
• Start date: September/October 2026 (potentially earlier for the right candidate)
• $20-$30/ hour, DOE
• Schedule: The family has flexibility to work with the candidate’s schedule, as long as its within general working hours Monday – Friday. The family prefers Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am-4pm.
• Benefits: 2 paid work weeks of PTO, 1 paid work week of sick time, major holidays off (if it falls in schedule), guaranteed hours
• Potential for additional hours, during parent date nights

About the Family & Role
The family is hoping to find a stable, committed, long-term fit. The ideal candidate would be someone who has strong communication skills, comfortable with work from home parents, and enjoys taking a proactive approach to nannying throughout the day. Candidates should also be comfortable with 2 dogs in the home, as well as taking care of infants and multiples.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging and nurturing care for 1 year old, and eventually an infant
• Create a calm, engaging, and developmentally supportive environment
• Plan age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and exploration
• Support daily routines and transitions
• Nap support
• Child related meal prep and cleaning and feeding
• Maintain organization and cleanliness related to the children

Ideal Candidate/Requirements:

• Proven ability to care for children under 2 years old, experience with multiples a plus
• Demonstrated understanding of infant and early childhood milestones/development
• Genuine care-giving ability, with an active and engaging approach to nannying
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistency and cleanliness
• Values building trust and connection with parents
• 2 Excellent references from paid childcare roles that can be contacted by the family
• Prior, paid childcare experience
• Reliable transportation, and a clean driving record

Preferred Requirements

• Pediatric CPR certified (or willingness to obtain before start date)
• Able to pass a background check (completed by the candidate, after being provided with a contingent offer)
• Paid, childcare experience, ideally in a private setting lasting at least 2+ years

• Schedule: The family has flexibility to work with the candidate’s schedule, as long as it’s within general working hours between Monday – Thursday. Once a schedule is determined, the family would like to commit to that schedule on a consistent basis.

looking to welcome a nanny they can trust to help their family navigate childcare and
upcoming milestones. Reliability, cleanliness and proactive engagement with children
are important for this role, and they are hoping to build a long-term relationship with the
right caregiver.
